About Us
Welcome to Raptor Rescue of Michigan, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey in Michigan. Our team, led by Dr. Kevin Smyth, works to provide care for injured, sick, or orphaned raptors, with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. Dr. Smyth, a veterinarian for 37 years, has been a licensed raptor rehabilitator since 2011 and has treated hundreds of birds of prey. Through education and community outreach, we raise awareness about raptor conservation and promote responsible stewardship of our environment. Join us in protecting Michigan's majestic birds of prey.

Your donation to Raptor Rescue of Michigan helps us save and rehabilitate injured birds of prey. As a recently created federal non-profit we are fundraising to upgrade our facilities. We currently have one small flight pen and would like to build a large, eagle-sized pen as well as several smaller pens.
